"so tonight we dined on stewed chicken and rice, i am full up, maybe even fuller than full up, i feel as if i've stretched myself to fit it all in cos i definitely wasn't leaving any of it and it was huge. The rice , once again cooked to perfection, mixed with sliced baby carrots, peppers and spinach served as the perfect riposte and bed for the chunks of stewed chicken, masses of them, a hint of heat amongst the expertly mixed Caribbean spices, i always bone the lot of it so that i can get on with my eating uninterrupted every other mouthful on a slice of doubles with that sweet and sour tamarind chutney and curried chick peas the perfect contrast to just the chicken and rice.... another golden winner from Trinidads' greatest export, our chef extraordinaire"
